As an aspiring author and avid reviewer, I think there are a few things that might help us. Make sure you can influence who gets an ARC. Use social media (Instagram, TikTok, Goodreads) to find which people love to promote similar books AND write good reviews, and ask them if they would want to read an ARC of your book (for free!). A street team might help too, especially if you can make a deal with your publisher to get those who helped you a physical book.
